Spent the past weekend in Moab, UTwith my boy Jonny Lang (no, not the musician). I flew into Denver, CO where Jon lives. I landed after four hours. We ate dinner, I put my bike together out of the crate I flew it in, and we were off for the six hour drive to Moab two hours after I landed. We got to Moab at three am, checked in to the Best Western, and passed out. We were up bright and early to ride the next day.

Hung out in the dirt jump park at the Bootleg Canyon trails in Boulder City, Nevada during dirt demo at Interbike 2009. Shot some pics of my boy Gary and met a cool cat named Dave Diamond from Kentucky. And Dave could get some air I tell ya. He was hitting some pretty big double sets and was a good 30 feet in the air at times. Below are the best photos out of what I got. Thanks for letting me grab the shots, Dave. Enjoy everyone.

Interbike 2009. The Ventian, Las Vegas, NV. It was my first Interbike. I walked in for day one of the expo and there he stood. I wasn’t in the building for more than three minutes. I didn’t even make it onto the trade show floor. And my first impression of the Interbike Expo was an immediate sighting of the Godfather of mountain biking; Mr. Gary Fisher.

Gary was giving a press interview. He was talking with the Interbike press about the new Fisher Superfly 100 carbon full suspension. I was standing there with my friends patiently waiting for him to finish so I could humbly ask him for a photo. While I was standing there, I decided to take a photo of Gary from a distance. Checked out a dirt jump park just outside of Baltimore City on Memorial Day. The park we checked out was on the down-low because it’s on public land and unsanctioned; so I know you won’t mind if I don’t tell you the name or the location of this spot.
