Review: AirCaddy Bike Shipping Solution

The AirCaddy is an airline friendly, re-usable bike shipping solution that allows your bike to stay largely intact and better protected than standard cardboard bike shipping solutions. It was created by the owner of Lickton’s Bike Supply – which is said to be one of the oldest catalog-based Internet sites for bikes. He invented the AirCaddy as a better solution to safely ship a bike.

ANODIZED: Loaded Precision Products Review

If there’s one thing that Interbike 2009 made clear, it’s that anodizing is back.

That’s right folks, the look from the mid to late 90’s has made a comeback. Within OEM line ups like SRAM, to brand new companies launching complete anodized product lines, chances are you can find whatever colored aluminum pieces you want to bling out your bike with in 2010.

Interbike 2009 Expo Experience

Wow. What a fuckin’ day man. Straight up. We snaked the entire Interbike floor in the first day. If you’ve ever been to a large scale trade show, you know this isn’t easy. There is just so damn much to see. I walked ’till my feet completely ached, then I walked some more. Must of been at least 6 straight hours of walking. And it was worth every single pace.

I’m not going to go into great detail on what’s “new” and “hot” for 2010. If you want that story, check out MTBR’s Interbike coverage here. What I will give you is a solid feel for what it’s like to actually be there; to see the athletes and big names, to experience the brands, and to see the product.

And even though they list the Fox Talas 36 RC2 fork on their site – along with a turn around time for its rebuild – the female on the other end of the phone says that Push does not yet rebuild the 36 RC2 because they have not yet figured out a way to reverse engineer this particular fork’s technology so that they can offer custom Push valving for it. So I asked her “What about a standard rebuild using Fox parts?” And for some unknown reason, she proceeded to…
