Downhilling 0wns

How can you even get on an XC bike and get excited after a day of this shit?

We left the 105 degree weather in Baltimore circa 5am for Diablo Freeride Park. Got to the mountain at 10:30 am and found the sun and 87 degree temps. Jackpot, bitches. We got to the park and hit this sender on our second run. Largest thing I’ve hucked to date. No photos. Too busy being stoked out of our minds.

Photo Sesh On Some Smaller Stuff

We decided to set up for some pics with a shitty point and shoot that can’t track worth a damn. Never using this camera again.

Clouds & Rain

What was great about the day was the cloud coverage that set in around noon. It kept the sun off of us, then it brought rain and made things really nice. Gotta say that riding in the wet was a highlight of the day. Slippery everything keeps you on your toes and forces even better technique. Zero margin for error.

Crappy pic, but notice how slick the rocks are.

The Aftermath

Dare ya to do 14-20 runs on Diablo black diamonds and not feel like this.
