Gravity East #3 – Swain Resort 2013
What a great place to race. The folks at Swain Resort are a pleasure. They love DH riders and racers and it shows. The place is all love and it feels like the let it become your home. Especially if you camp there. It’s sorta like you own a piece of the place or something. Fireworks, fire pits, beers, bikes it’s all good.

Blame Stuller for this mess. We finish practice on day one of GES #2 and he wants to take his wife and a couple of us on a fun run. He picks a black diamond. Didn’t realize Audrey got down like that. Then this happens.

Gravity East #2 – Mountain Creek 2013
Punishing. Not a course for beginners. Rocks everywhere. A 3 minute rock garden. Very difficult. Hardest DH course I’ve seen in the series to date. Mountain Creek built it fresh and the GES broke it in. That didn’t sit well with GES management as it scared off first timers. Rumor has it management twisted the bike park’s arm and trail builders went over the course at night with flash lights to clean up the lines. It was much faster in the AM.
